  • Layla is a Strategist with Dynamic Perspectives, LLC, is an Emotional Intelligence Assessor & Coach (EQi 2.0, EQi 360, and Team EI); a Leadership Challenge and Student Leadership Challenge facilitator & coach; and a Life Coach.

    Layla lives in Athens, Ohio where she is actively involved in the local community with a focus on the health and welfare of the impoverished youth and veterans of Appalachia. Layla is active with Jump Up Leadership Youth, a non-profit, dedicated to the leadership development of youth.

Accomplished in Emotional Intelligence & Leadership Development, including assessments, consulting, coaching, training, and facilitating. Layla is professionally certified and results-oriented with a proven track record of delivering results. Her mission is to inspire leaders and teams of all levels to realize their full potential.

    Layla holds a BS in Social Psychology, an MS in Health Sciences-Public Health, and an MS in Military Operational Art and Science. She is an Emotional Intelligence Assessor & Coach (EQi 2.0, EQi 360, and Team EI); a Leadership Challenge and Student Leadership Challenge facilitator & coach; and a Life Coach. Layla also holds certifications in Negotiation Strategies, Conflict Management, and Program Management.

  • Layla believes you must empower your team by giving them the space to decide and the room to fail. Layla believes great leaders share information. Layla believes in allowing room for mistakes to grow.

    Layla believes believe you must lead with empathy – always. Seek to understand others’ feelings about the situation. I believe the best way to understand and help others is to listen to them. Layla believes having compassion is a better way to lead.

    Layla believes in actively looking for ways to build relationships. Layla believes in listening to the wisdom of others free of judgment.

    Layla believes you must be vulnerable, self-aware, and authentic in your relationships. Layla believes being honest with people is a better way to build those authentic relationships.

    Layla believes in celebrating and elevating the small wins by looking for opportunities to praise others.

    Layla believes in creating a vision of the future that is vivid and compelling. A vision that motivates others to achieve it together. Layla believes in giving others the space and freedom to contribute to that vision.
